Mission Statement
Double Springs Baptist Church exists to glorify God and to work at His mission by reaching the unsaved with the good news of Jesus Christ, then discipling and growing believers in faith, and mobilizing them to join in God’s mission.
DSBC seeks to be a church that…
- worships God as a fellowship of believers, in the power of the Holy Spirit, under the Lordship of our Savior, Jesus Christ
- ministers unselfishly to each other, to persons in the community, and to the world in the name of Jesus
- nurtures Christian growth through preaching and teaching the Word, through fellowship, and through experiences that foster a growing knowledge of God and His will for our lives
- proclaims the saving gospel of Christ throughout the world
- emphasizes total commitment of life, personality, and possessions to the Lordship of Christ, thus living daily lives in a Christ-like manner
