Children
Prov 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
The Children’s ministries at Double Springs teach children about our heavenly Father and His love for them through Jesus. This is where your little ones will begin building their spiritual foundation.
At Double Springs, we are dedicated to the physical and emotional safety of our church family during our time together. Safety policies and procedures are designed to protect our children while in our care.

Children’s Choirs: Music Makers (pre-school) & God’s Singers (grades 1 – 5)
The goal of these choirs is to instill the love of music and the spirit of praise and worship into our young children. They sing age-appropriate Christian music, accompanied by piano or recorded tracks. The children’s choirs sing in various worship services. They meet on Wednesdays, 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. during the school year.
Girls Ministry
Through events five times a year for two age groups, young girls gather to learn about God’s plan for their lives. Both groups have Bible study, sing, carry out mission projects, have prayer time, cook and craft. It’s a time of food, fun, and faith building.
God’s Precious Princess is for girls age 4 through second grade. They learn that they are princesses because they are daughters of The King.
Girls Created to Shine is for girls third grade and older (ages 8-12) to emphasize that they are to be lights in the world as they model how Jesus lived. They are presented with Bibles designed for tweens.
Vacation Bible School
This is a week-long community outreach event that occurs during the summer (dates will be announced.) The goal is to discover more about the awesome God who loves us, through a variety of interactive and fun activities.
South Mountain Baptist Camp – (1st-5th Graders)
